Upholstery buying checklist:

• Have a good idea of how much furniture will fit in your room before you go shopping.

• Have a budget in mind of how much you want to spend.

• Only shop for styles when you initially start shopping….not colors

• Once you choose a frame style ask questions about construction and warranty, special order capabilities

• Don't be afraid to special order the frame in a fabric that will fit your décor….remember that is why special ordering is available.

• If special ordering, ask to take fabrics home to match with your colors and décor.

• Once you find the style measure your space to be sure it will fit when delivered

• Do you have to pay for delivery or is it free? How about service?

• Be sure to take into account any odd doorways or low ceilings that may make it difficult to deliver your new furniture….it's no fun damaging it before you ever use it.

Be sure all of your questions have been answered BEFORE you order anything…remember you’re the one who has to live with your decision….but a good salesperson or designer should be able to answer all of your questions
